| A 1.5-year-old male child was admitted to Pentagone Hospital, Kanpur, with fever, cough, cold, and widespread skin rashes. He was diagnosed by Dr. Nirmala Singh with Acrodermatitis Enteropathica, a rare disorder caused by zinc deficiency. Before treatment, the child had multiple erythematous, scaly, and crusted skin lesions causing discomfort. After starting zinc supplementation, the lesions resolved rapidly, and healthy skin regeneration occurred. The case highlights the significance of early diagnosis and timely zinc therapy for complete recovery.
